QR codes for events

Printed invitations can't have broken links. Neither should the code on them.

Make a free QR code for RSVPs, the day-of schedule, photo sharing, or venue Wi-Fi, right in your browser. It's static, so it never expires: no account, no subscription, and no dead code on 200 invitations that already went out.

Where a code earns its keep at an event

The rule for every one of these: point the code at a page you control, so you can update the page without touching the print.

RSVP on the invitation

A code that scans straight to your RSVP form. Guests answer in the mailroom, not three weeks later.

Website tab
Photo sharing

A code on every table pointing at the shared album. Guests upload from their seats, and you get every angle of the night.

Website tab
Day-of schedule

One code on the welcome sign opens the running order, the venue map, and the menu. Nobody has to ask what time dinner starts.

Website tab
Venue Wi-Fi

A Wi-Fi code at check-in connects guests in one scan. It beats reading a password off a whiteboard.

Wi-Fi tab
Registry or tickets

A code on the invitation or poster that goes straight to the registry, ticket page, or donation link.

Website tab
"Text the organizer"

A code for vendors and guests that opens a text to the coordinator. Questions reach one phone instead of ten.

How it works

Paste your RSVP or album link

Or the schedule page, or pick the Wi-Fi tab and enter the network details.

Match the invitation

Custom colors and a monogram or logo in the center. The tool keeps it scannable automatically.

Download and print

Sharp SVG for the stationer, high-res PNG for signs. Test-scan the proof before the full run.

Why your invitation code should never expire

An invitation mails once. Most QR generators make dynamic codes that route through their server, and a code from a trial account can die before the event date, taking the RSVPs with it. There is no reprint that reaches 200 mailboxes in time.

A static code bakes the link into the pattern itself, permanently. Nobody can turn it off, including me. The full story is in do QR codes expire, and the sizing math for an in-hand scan is in the print size guide.

Questions planners ask

What size should the QR code be on an invitation?

About 0.8 to 1 inch square works for an in-hand scan, and keep the quiet margin of blank space around it. The print size guide has the full table for signs and posters too.

Can I change event details after the invitations are printed?

Yes, if the code points at a page you control. Edit the page with the new time or venue and the same code on every invitation shows the update.

Does it work for save-the-dates sent months out?

Yes. Static codes have no clock, so a code scanned a year after printing works the same as day one. Just keep the destination page live.

Can I match the wedding colors?

Yes. Set custom colors and add a center monogram, and the tool warns you if the contrast gets risky for scanning.

Do I need an account or a subscription?

No. The tool runs in your browser, the code is free, and there is nothing to renew. Your links never leave your device.
