QR codes for small business

Every big QR tool wants a subscription. Your business card doesn't.

Make a free QR code for anything your business prints, right in your browser. It's static, so it never expires: no account, no monthly plan, and no printed code held hostage when a trial runs out.

Where a code earns its keep in a small business

The rule for every one of these: point the code at a page you control, so you can update the page without touching the print.

Storefront and signage

Hours, ordering, booking, whatever your window needs to say after close. One code covers it.

How it works

Paste your link

Your site, menu, booking page, or review link. Or pick Contact, Wi-Fi, or a chat tab instead.

Match your brand

Your colors, your logo in the center. The tool keeps it scannable automatically.

Download and print

SVG for printers, PNG for everything else. Test-scan the proof before the big run.

Why your printed code should never expire

The subscription model works by holding your printed codes hostage. A dynamic code points at the company's server, which forwards customers to your page. When the plan lapses, the redirect dies on every card, sign, and invoice you paid to print, usually with someone else's upsell where your link used to be.

A static code bakes your link into the pattern itself, so there is nothing to hold. Nobody can turn it off, including me. The full story is in do QR codes expire, and if you want scan numbers without a plan, read how to track scans without a subscription.

Questions owners ask

Is it really free?

Yes, the whole tool. No watermark, no account, no plan waiting at the end. It exists to make a point about codes that die when a subscription does.

Can I track scans without paying?

Yes. Add a UTM to the link before you make the code and read the results in your own analytics. The tracking guide walks through it.

What if my link changes later?

Point the code at a stable page you control, like yoursite.com/menu, and edit the page when things change. The print stays right.

What file do I give a printer?

The SVG. It stays sharp at any size, from a sticker to a banner. PNG up to 4000px works for screens and quick prints.

Is my data collected?

No. The code is built in your browser, and your links and logo never leave your device.

Make your code now
